In-Kind Donations
Your support can make a lasting impact on a child who has little more in this world than the clothes on their back. In-kind donations of essential items such as high-quality clothing, toiletries, backpacks, school supplies, Halloween costumes, and holiday or birthday gifts meet basic needs but also send a powerful message: they are valued and cared for by their community during a challenging transition.
Items We Accept
Please note: All donated items must be new. We do not accept used or "like new" items.
- Clothing: For all ages and genders (especially new undergarments and pajamas).
- School Items: Backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, etc.
- Toys & Gifts: Age-appropriate toys, games, and books to help foster children learn and play.
- Hygiene Items: Shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, etc.
- Gift Cards: To popular stores, restaurants, or online platforms.
- Professional Services: If you are a professional with a service that could benefit our families (e.g., haircuts, legal consultations, dental cleanings) we would be grateful for your in-kind donation.
Donation Drop-Off
We accept in-kind donations at our office in downtown Vancouver Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
In-Kind Donation FAQ
Do you accept used furniture?
Unfortunately, due to limited storage space, we are not able to accept used furniture at this time.
Can I donate food?
We are not currently accepting food donations. However, we can connect you with other local organizations that may be accepting food donations.
What types of in-kind donations does Fosterful accept?
Fosterful accepts new items, such as clothing, toys, hygiene products, and school supplies.
Are there any items that Fosterful cannot accept?
Yes, due to health and safety standards, we cannot accept used items, perishables, or anything not on our approved list. Please contact us if you’re unsure about a specific item.
Are there volunteer opportunities for businesses or community groups?

Can I schedule a pick-up at my home or business?
We are unable to schedule pick-up donations. Please contact us to schedule a drop-off.
